Betty Rue O’Sullivan’s motto was ‘Live Your Life’

Live your Life Cycle 2014

When her own life was affected by motor neurone disease, Betty and her family benefited beyond measure from the help and support they received from the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The staff of the IMNDA were able to offer practical support, and a sympathetic ear, from diagnosis through to Betty’s death in July 2012. In 2013, a fundraising cycle in Betty’s honour was a huge success.

Now — to help raise funds for the IMNDA — we’re planning to cycle again from Ballincollig to Allihies in West Cork under Betty’s slogan: ‘Live Your Life!’

We’ll be leaving Ballincollig on the morning of July 19th 2014, and arriving to a great welcome from Betty’s family and friends in Allihies that evening. Along the way, we’ll be raising funds for the IMNDA! So join us for either the full cycle or the second half of the event:

  • Full Cycle – Ballincollig RFC 9.30am 133km
  • Half Cycle – Cronin’s Shop Ballylickey 11.30am 57km
  •
Cycle with us, fundraise for us, and follow us on Facebook to help raise awareness of this heartbreaking disease.
